La París - Tours este año ha estado muy emocionante, porque la escapada no se sabía si iba a llegar o no. Al final la escapada llego y Wallays le gano el sprint a Voeckler, que le han sobrado unos kilómetros.
La carrera estuvo marcada por abundantes caídas, la mayoría de las veces producidas por el nerviosismo al acercarse alguna cota o en algún paso complicado.
El sprint del grupo principal lo gano el belga Jens Debusschere.
